I can read you like a book.

Not the slimmest
Of volumes
On the library shelf

And then the most slim
By your side
Lying sated
By a fumbled page

Title embossed
Rounded spine
Scuffed and lying
Dog eared
In your place

A penny dreadful
Bodice ripping prose

I have loved you all
In my fashion
And you have brought me to book
