It seems odd but I only seem to find significance quite long after the event.
Having had my mini op/procedure I was approached by a senior registrar as to whether I would mind students making a diagnosis. You say no problem, don't you.
Screens round ,lie flat enter four students two female two male.
Exit boss man. They were quite gentle and rather hesitant laying hands on my crumpled body, talking quite above me , making notes. They did all the usual tests neurologists make, which I am now utterly familiar with. They had plenty to go on. Finished thank you kindly and on your way.
Re-enter students with tutor for the detailed diagnosis and de-brief. They got it right eventually. ALS bingo!
Well done everybody.
Then the next day two more to do a "How did you discover your symptoms initially?"
Thus ended my time as a forensic object and I still don't know whether I resented it.
Dihydracodein :stay off that.
I destroyed my wrist tag so I will now never know my number.
