I had flowers
Brought to me.
Jasmine and fuchsia
Patrol the dressing
Table top.
The fuchsia
Deep as my blood
Top full of drama
Jasmine winter lemon
Waiting for the early primrose
A delicate foreground
To continue through my darker days.
