Iris


A lady from Turkey
Made a discrete entry
To my dresser,
Deep purple
With a yellow tongue,
Took the place
Of Hyacinth Bianco
Far more brash
With a heavy scent
Than its mild successor.
Iris reticulata
Drawing a fine line.
