Who are you
Set upon the sea?
A boat on the horizon?
Sail set across a westering sun?
A rolling light across the bar?
A flare to stretch the night into a cry?
The gentle wallow at anchor
Has always been my delight
The shift and slide of comeliness
A rounded haven of a harbour home
Entwining ropes secured in place.
When two are one yet moored apart,
All holds set fast, a sacred space.
Where doth the soul reside?
South westerly wind today and strong scent of the sea,no doubt tide out, whipping sand over a bed of shells, a hard edge to this wind.
